We officially started our Final Major Project this week, this and a draft brief is all I have so far! My sketchbook is still completely blank. I feel a huge pressure to make sure every page is utterly perfect as this project goes on public display in Milton Keynes shopping centre*le gasp*

I've done some brainstorming in the form of doodling and mind maps and *I think* I have settled on an idea! I decided I would like to 'recreate' a fairy tale(s) done in my own drawing style, with a mixture of pencil, ink, watercolour used quite loosely and possibly photography..though I not entirely sure how the latter will fit in yet. I thought, for a story such a Little Red Riding Hood, photographing wooded areas using my Holga lens, etc. might be a good idea but it depends on the story really..

I'm trying my hardest to make sure this is all as perfect as I can make it, especially since the public will be able to see it(*￣ｰ)ﾉ

P.S. I realise these photos probably don't make much sense in relation to what I've written but it all makes sense to me!

Unfortunately, I've still got other projects to finish up over the weekend..stillﾐ(ﾉ_ _)ﾉ

I'm feeling so much better lately, our project hand in date got extended by an extra week woooo(￣ー￣) So, I've been relaxing a little too much..Still, I'm confident this will all get finished on time

I finished the 'Small scale design' project at the beginning of this week, thank the Lord..So, I wanna share my outcome photos here 'cause I'm proud(*´ω｀)っ

I did a small calculation: 17 days to finish 7 projects, that's 2.4 days on each project as of today..

I'll happily admit I leave work until the last minute but I'm kind of peed off that college has let this happen. For the first 2/3 months of college we had so many different tutors leave and cover tutors..none of the staff had any idea what was going on.

One project was completely dropped a few months ago after a tutor left, only for us to be told it had to be completed about a month before the deadline( 　ﾟ,_ゝﾟ)

Still, I can't motivate myself to work. I'm a little sick of looking at the same work after all this time.

I know I need to work hard if I want to go to uni. If I carry on as I am now, the future doesn't look bright.

I'm not sure if I can turn this around majorly at this point and get anything above a Pass, all I can think about is this term being over with so I can start my Final major project.

Like in my old college, you only worked on one project at a time. Here, it seems to be normal to work on 7 at a time..wtf? I don't understand how people do so well like this?
